In addition, for your travel planning you might want to consider the following:
§
The
well known "Oktoberfest"
takes place in Munich from September 16 until October 3, just prior to ISLPED. Munich is about 1 hour away from Rottach-Egern. You can find more details at: www.oktoberfest.de. Hotel rooms in Munich might be difficult to get on short
notice during the Oktoberfest.
§
On
the more technical side, the CLEAN Workshop on leakage takes place prior to
ISLPED in the same conference center in Rottach-Egern on October 2. Please find details at: http://www.edacentrum.de/veranstaltungen/2006/low-power-workshop/
So, a perfect trip might consist of the CLEAN workshop on October 2,
Oktoberfest on October 3 (which is a public holiday in Germany), and then ISLPED from October 4-6.
